Saddlebags, Horseshoes and barding Empty
PostSubject: Saddlebags, Horseshoes and barding   Saddlebags, Horseshoes and barding I_icon_minitimeMon Jan 26, 2009 3:57 pm

* Saddlebags

Saddlebags are not described in this section, see crafted bags list. Once we have purchased the desired saddlebag, we simply summon our mount and place the empty saddlebag into the saddlebag icon on the character mount screen.

* Horseshoes

Horseshoes are created by blacksmiths and have two general effects to our mount, namely those which affect our mounts speed, those which affect our mounts stability, and often some horseshoes can bring about both effects at the same time.

* Barding

Barding may be bought from a npc vendor or be crafted and can be placed on the mount to give two main effects. The npc vendor bought barding increases mount speed, while the crafted barding increases mount stability, the outfitter barding only increasing stability, while the heavier blacksmith barding greatly increasing stability but also greatly reducing mount speed.

* Equipping barding and horseshoes to our mount

Open our inventory, open our character mount screen (press keystroke and select horse-saddle icon on left side of window) and click and drag the desired item from our inventory window over the relevant icon space on our mount screen window. This will then equip our mount, (both barding and horseshoes can be placed on camels as well as horses), with the desired horseshoes or barding.
