PostSubject: The complete guide to obtaining a griffon!   Wed Oct 07, 2009 1:49 pm

*** This is an incomplete work in progress! ***

Griffons of a Feather... Ch. 1 "Initiation"

This quest begins from Southwatch. Find the village of southwatch and to the east you'll see a path that takes you up the mountain. Follow the path up, once you get into the area where there's nests and stuff you'll need to look around for a Pellillo Cogswin. He will give you the quest you need.

This quest is a bit tricky, you use the item he gives you to turn into a bush. Then he asks that you collect "samples" from the baby griffons in the area without invoking the ire of the parents that are flying nearby. Invis/Stealth does not work for this and you have to be in the form of the bush to get the samples. To get the samples click on the baby griffons (you should have a "!" for them) and wait out the timer.
*** Tips:
  • 1) Find out the range of mob aggro first! By doing this you'll know exactly how far away you have to stay and can find the safe spots!
  • 2) Do not log out while doing this quest - the item Pellilo gives you is temporary and will not stay in your inventory, so you must finish
the quest before logging or you'll have to start all over.

Once this part is complete you'll need to turn it in to Naziel in New Targanor. He can be found in the Thieves Den, House Vermach. He is hiding in a back alley, so he's a bit tough to find.

Part 2. Naziel's Request
Once you've talked to Naziel, he'll give you a new quest. This one is a LOT tougher, bring friends!

2A) Killing the Fungal Abomination:

Killing the Fungal Abomination first requires you to kill 2 other mobs to get the "Magic Mushrooms". This is accomplished by killing King Mnal in the Lair of the Mnalus and looting the "stipe" that drops if you have the quest, and by killing Archmagus Hegnarian and looting the Wind Essence that drops from him. Items drop for anyone who has the quest.

Once you've killed King Mnal and Hegnarian, you combine the 2 items you've looted (just right click either) and make the Magic Mushrooms.

Now it's time to kill the Fungal Abomination! You should have a waypoint to him in your quest log.
*** Tips:
  • 1) Once you're there you'll need to kill all the little adds. It's best to wait until just before you plan on attacking the Fungal Abomb so
that you have the maximum amount of time before the adds respawn (5 minute timer or so...).
  • 2) This fight requires a really good tank and one, if not 2 good healers. Every 15 seconds or so, the abomb will spawn a spore - GET
AWAY FROM THEM!! The best way to do this fight is to back the mob up every time a spore pops, or you will wipe. The Abomb will throw his arms up in the air each time he casts up a spore, so have the tank watch for this and call it out.
  • 3) If you die and the fight is still going - get back into the fight! If you release, you'll go to the alter only a short distance away.

2B) Killing the Pharaoh Harakhan

Killing the Pharaoh first requires you to complete a quest in order to summon him. Deep inside the tomb at Nusibe Necropolis, you'll find an NPC named Ozymandous. Upon speaking with him you'll get a quest to collect the body parts of the pharoah along with some bandages to bind them together! All in all, one sticky mess for your backpack! There are 5 named bosses inside Nusube Necropolis and each one will drop a body part, and some of the undead trash mobs will drop bandages at a rate of about 1:4. Plan on spending some time here with a group.

Once you've collected all the items you need, return to Ozymandous and he'll give you the completed corpse that you need to summon the prophet. Note: Only one person needs to have the corpse - in fact anyone with the corpse can spawn the Pharaoh, so check around your guild/friends first to see if anyone has it and can spawn it for you! This will save you a ton of time! Simply right click the corpse while well away from Ozymandous (So you don't get aggro when he spawns!) to spawn him.
*** Tips:
  • 1) The Prophet has a nasty line of sight mana drain! If he can see you, he can drain you, quickly.
  • 2) Range Debuff! This is another of his nasty lil tricks - he makes you a victim of the range debuff so you have to get in range/LOS of
the mana drain. Casters should joust this mob, stand near the cleric if need be.
  • 3) The prophet does not move. This makes things much easier for keeping out of LOS.
  • 4) The standard tactic is to keep the healer out of LOS by having the tank stand close to the mob, but not out of LOS of the cleric.
  • 5) A disciple is almost a must have. The prophet hits hard, secondary healing is very important and the disciple isn't an energy whore!
  • 6) Timed fight! After 2 minutes this mob could prolly one-shot a GM. Be fast!
  • 7) The pharaoh can be spawned over and over again once you have the corpse. If you don't turn in the quest to Ozymandous, you can spawn him anytime you like. It's great to have a person with summon ability with the corpse. Then they can summon everyone in and start the fight on-demand!

2C) Killing Torlaxis

After all that it's time for a breather - and this is it! Torlaxis is by far the easiest mob out of the 3.

Killing Torlaxis requires you to kill random mobs near the summoning circle inside the temple at Razad. (Seal of Rhaz - next to where Majordomo spawns) You will need to collect vials of blood. Right clicking these vials inside the summoning circle will frequently spawn a placeholder mob, or rarely will spawn Torlaxis. There isn't any rhyme or reason to the spawn, so it's best to collect 5-10 vials of blood. Once you get Torlaxis, it's a simple tank-n-spank though he does have a frontal AoE so have the tank face him away from the team. Once he's down you should get a quest update.

Once all 3 are complete, return to Naziel in New Targanor for the next part of the quest.

2) Griffons of a Feather... Chapter 1 "Initiation" (continued!)

Memories of the Old Blood.

Once you've turned in Naziels Request, you'll be directed to another NPC - Ramier O'Shear who is also in NT, in the Griffon Watch area.
He will ask you to kill 6 mobs in Old Targanor and return their signet rings to him. This is by far the most time consuming, difficult part so far so don't expect to get this done quickly or easily.

How to spawn the mobs: Killing vast quantities of random mobs in OT will spawn the boss mobs randomly. You will see a message on the center of your screen (in big red letters!) when one spawns. A lot of people, myself included have trouble seeing this message so everyone in the team should be watching out for it. Once spawned, you have until A) It reaches the end of it's path; or B) 30 minutes have elapsed; before the mobs will despawn. So for example, if Akande spawns you'll have 30 minutes to take him out or he'll despawn, even if engaged in a fight. Be careful here - I've seen him despawn just before he was going to die. Make sure you have enough time before you start fighting him!

Some of these guys drop some really nice loot - click here! - so once you've got it down it may be worthwhile to kill whatever spawns even if you don't need them!

In order of difficulty:
(at least in my opinion!)

Cennfar the Cannibal
Message: Neither my thirst for blood nor my craving for flesh can match the hunger I have for your soul.
Spawns and patrols the NW dome, there are a couple safe spots so if you can, try to get a summoner there to make it easy. Cennfar is a pretty straightforward tank-n-spank. He'll put up a stance at 50% that needs to be pushed.

Raffen the Vain
Message: Your defeat is assured, for while I am flawless, you are not.
Paths to the "Safe Rock" near where Garzanog spawns. This is a tank-n-spank fight for the first 2 minutes. At 2 minutes he'll cast up a 100% riposte shield that reflects all incoming damage except magic. He also puts up Bulwark of Magic that lowers DPS recieved. At this point you'll be solely relying on your caster/s to take him out. The tank should continue to hit lightly to maintain aggro, but not enough so the healer can't keep up.

Tekar the Heartless
Message: Hope is a false promise, despair overcomes us all.
Paths to the "Safe Rock" near where Garzanog spawns. This is a ranged fight except for the tank. Tekar also puts up 2 AoE's so you'll want to be 15m away. This is a long, long fight so casters should be ready to regen mana, and archers should have a lot of arrows. Like Raffen he puts up a Bulwark of Magic that lowers incoming magical DPS. Properly done this fight can take up to 15 minutes.

Shorul the Wee
Message: Every scrap of power and piece of gold shall be mine, no matter how insignificant.
Shorul the Wee is a pretty good fight for those that know what they are doing. Near the "Safe Rock" as it's known near where Garzanog spawns is 2 little towers where 2 4 dot "mini-named" mobs spawn. Kill those when Shorul spawns. Shorul will path right to you after a minute or two. Have the tank take Shorul inside one of these! Shorul has an AOE mana drain and also a range debuff. Make sure the healers stay away from it! This fight is a lot like the Pharoah in that the casters will need to "joust" to stay out of the mana drain and the healer needs to be in LOS of the tank, but not in LOS from Shorul. Shorul also casts a huge debuff every 30 seconds or so. Let the tank build some aggro before the casters/ranged fighters go nuts!

Naranda the Grotesque
Message: There is nothing you can offer me, sae for the amusement of your demise.
Naranda is a healing mob with a huge mana drain at 50% health. She spawns and patrols outside the castle just to the north of the "Safe Rock". The key to this fight is counterspelling! 1 or preferably 2 counterspellers are required for this fight and will need at least 1000 counterspelling skill (I had 1450 just to be safe!). The nice thing is that Naranda doesn't hit very hard compared to the other mobs so the healers won't have too much work to do. Litany of Enjoining and Deny Life do not work on this mob, btw. As a counterspeller, I've had good luck staying exactly 25m away, just in range of my counterspelling ability and just outside the range of the mana drain. With the right combination of counterspelling and damage this fight can be really easy. Make sure you watch for repops of adds though - they spawn fast so you'll want to down them just before you attack Naranda or you'll lose your squishies to them. TIP: Have the tank call out when he sees Naranda's casting animation so the CS'ers can cast disenchant. Sometimes they cannot see it!

Akande the Butcher
Message: Tempt my wrath and I will grant it eagerly.
Spawns at intersection of roads to the NW. Akande is probably the hardest mob you'll ever face with a 6 man team. He is the definition of difficult. Don't expect to win this one unless you've got an experienced team around you. Akande spawns a minion dog that when popped will randomly select a member of your team and can one shot your squishies if you're tank isn't "Johnny on the Spot" to take aggro. A lot of teams prefer to use 2 tanks for this fight, one for Akande and another for the dog. The trick with Akande is to slow burn him till 40% or so, at which time he puts up "Pride of the Vein". Then you want to do as much damage as possible, for you've got about 30 seconds to kill him. After that he'll go crazy and kill even the best outfitted tanks in 1 or two fast hits. Though Akande does not move from his spawn point, he will summon and kill anyone involved in the fight - so no use running away when you think you're gonna die. You're gonna die! :p

3. Griffons of a Feather... Chapter 2. "Investigation"

Once you've collected the signet rings from the Knights of the Old Blood, it's time to head back to New Targanor to speak with Ramier O'Shear and collect your reward!

He will then refer you to 2nd Talon Cassius Bladesong who is nearby. Cassius wants you to investigate the disappearance of some scouts that he sent out. This will involve flying around to different nest sites and finding several clickable corpses as well as clicking on some little baby griffons again, this time without worrying about aggro.

Now it's been awhile since I did this part, so bear with me - The next part of the quest involves dealing with the Umbral Syndicate Agents that you probably noticed while collecting these parts. Speak to Cassius and get the next quest. Next, you need to speak to the Umbral Syndicate Agent until he gives you 5 spells that will appear in your spellbook. Fire, Ice, Poison, Electric and Blind. Once you have all 5 spells, put them in a hotbar as you'll be needing them to fight him. Speak to the NPC again and he'll give you an option to fight him.

For this fight it's pretty simple, he won't give you the information you need to continue the quest until you defeat him. To defeat him, simply watch what spell he appears to be casting and counter it with the correct spell of your own. You'll want to have your NPC Spell Particles setting up all the way for this so it's clear what he is casting. For example when he casts the fire spell, you'll see flames all around him. Cast the special fire spell. For poison it'll be a green cloud, etc. etc. Prepare to die a few times until you get the timing down. It happens.

4. Griffons of a Feather... Chapter 3 "Down and Dirty"

Okay, now that you've defeated the Umbral Syndicate Agent, it's time to come back to New Targanor and deal with the lag again (Lucky you!). Turn that quest in and you'll be moving on to the 3rd Talon guy, Hassan Quim. Hassan needs you to enter the griffon races but before you can do this, you'll need a griffon harness and registration papers to get into the race.

There are 2 ways of doing this.. the easy way that incidentally costs 8pp or the hard way that costs much less. The easy way is to buy the harness (5pp) and the faked registration papers (3pp) from the NPC vendor nearby. The hard way is to get the items yourself, hopefully with a lot of help of your friends and guildmates! You can also purchase all these parts from the broker if they're available.

My Kingdom for a saddle:
To make the griffon harness yourself you'll need:
  • 10 Saddle Pommel Parts (Artificer)
  • 10 Buckle Parts (Blacksmith)
  • 10 Stirrup Parts (Outfitter)

To get the recipes, the crafter must come to NT, and purchase the recipe (I believe it's 50gp for temporary recipe, and 2pp for the permanent recipe) from the same vendor.

Once you have all the parts, simply right click one of them to complete the saddle.

Completely Crumbelievable:
To get the fake registration papers you'll need:
  • 10 Crumbeard Background Information
  • 10 Crumbeard Something Else informations

To get the information you need you'll need a 45+ diplomat. Have them first come to NT and talk to one of the Talons there who will give the diplomat a buff that enables the parley for 2 hours. Next they'll need to travel to Leth Nurae and speak with 5 NPC's that are spread out a bit in order to get the information. (Near the palace go down several flights of stairs that exit the city heading towards Veskal's Exchange. You'll see a house on the cliff side with a harvesting instructor outside. Go inside the house and into the smaller off-room in there and you'll have a mission to get from crumbeard. Now parley with the different people around the house till you get 10 of each.) Parleying with these NPC's will yield about a 1 in 5 droprate on the information but is great XP!

Once you have the information, keep it in your inventory for the next part.

Finally, you'll still need to shell out 50gp for a blank parchment from the vendor in NT.

----

One-Eyed Jack:

Now that you've got the parts you need for the harness you need to get the registration forms forged. To do this you'll need to speak to an NPC in the city of Mekalia. The Gnomes in Mekalia are a hateful race of little people, so most folks will be KOS when they go there. Invisibility spells and carvings work fine though, so sneak your way in and speak to the NPC. The NPC tells you that she'd love to help out, if only you'd do her a little favor... of course!! She sends you back to Old Targanor, this time to find Suraya who has her Monacle.

Suraya can be found deep underground in OT, you'll find the entrance to the dungeon in the main castle of OT. Most of the mobs outside the dungeon are undead so if you're careful not to run into any Trolls, etc. you should be able to get there without too much trouble. Once inside, all the mobs are undead with the exception of Suraya. Suraya is quite a few levels down, so it may take some time to find her. Once found though, you'll need a tank and a healer as she's a level 50 6-dot mob. Not a tough fight though. Once you've found and killed her, you'll need to return to Mekalia and the NPC there will finally forge your documents for you!

Time to head back to Lagsville! (New Targanor)

5. Griffons of a Feather... Chapter 4 "Take me to the Races"

Now that you have your forged documents all ready to go - it's time to head back to NT and turn your quests in! Once you've got that completed, it's off to the races with you! Smile

You should have a marker for the next NPC's - they're at the top of the cliff in the Spires Keep chunk just east of NT. The best way to get there is to follow east from the rift in NT. Once there, you'll find one NPC and another just to the east. You'll need to talk to both. The first NPC will give you a "Land Griffon" Go ahead and mount up. The next NPC will give you the first test - a land race running through slalom pillars. Before you click accept, make sure you've got your PC display particles setting jacked all the way to high. This will ensure that you can see the pillars you need to run through.

Once you've accepted the quest, you'll have 2:30 seconds to complete it, so make sure you're buffed and ready - speed buffs will help so get them if you can!

The race is quite simple, run between the pillars and follow the route. The not-so-simple part is the 3 waves of 3 mobs you'll get. They're very easy to kill, but have a terrific root so you can't run away from them and keep going. So, each time you'll get dismounted and will have to remount after every fight. If you fail to remount, you won't get credit for passing through the pillars. So, make sure you off them as quickly as possible, remount and get going! If you fail the quest you can re-take it as many times as you need.

Having passed this first test, it's time to move on to the second part - flying though hoops. This time there won't be any mobs so it's simple, talk to the NPC again and get your new flying mount. You'll see the hoops as they appear in your flight path. You get 3 minutes or so, so take your time and hit the center of each hoop. Like the first quest you can retake this as many times as you need - the griffon you get isn't timed, so if you fail, you can fly back up and try again.

Sano the Fixer
The next fight is a bit special... once you complete flying through hoops you'll see the NPC you neet to turn your quest into at the end of the race. When you talk to him he'll give you an option to speak with Sano. This will warp you to where Sano hangs out. Fortunately Sano is non-aggro until you activate the fight so you have a minute to get your bearings, etc. This fight is really more of a challenge to your video card than anything else. Make sure you've got your settings turned up for this, especially your PC particle display and view distance. It's also great advice to do a /flush all before you start.

This fight is the same as you had with the Umbral Syndicate Agent. Sano will cast a spell and you have to counter it. The trick is that instead of casting a debuff you need to fly into one of 5 orbs floating well overhead of the platform where Sano is. All the while you need to stay away from Sano - who doesn't move though if you get too close he will kill you. When Sano casts a spell, one of the orbs will start "wiggling" around in the air and you'll see a shield animation in front of it. Get there fast and fly directly into it! Be quick to turn around and watch the other orbs for the next spell! You'll have about 8-10 seconds from start to finish for each spell so you'll really need to pay attention! It helps if you have friends that have griffons already as they can fly overhead and call out what orb is next, etc. Remember not to get too close to Sano!

Starting the fight: You have to talk to Sano and let him know that you are ready before he turns aggro and the contest begins. Unfortunately he turns aggro the very second you tell him you're ready and he hits hard!! So once you're ready to go, get mounted and fly down just low enough to open a dialog with him and as soon as you click to start the quest, get moving! Hopefully you'll escape major damage that way! If Sano doesn't turn red to you immediately go up anyways, sometimes it lags behind a little bit. If after a minute he's still yellow, then go down and try to get the quest started again. (It's a bit hit or miss sometimes)

If you die: You'll need to relog before trying the fight again, failing to do so will leave Sano aggro and he'll kill you immediately when you get warped back up to him.

If you succeed: Congratulations!!! Now go turn in again in New Targanor!

6. Griffons of a Feather... Chapter 5 "Creepy Cadavers"

Now that you've finished up the races you'll get a new quest to go find Chath and kill him!

Chath is located in Heroe's Plain in NW Thestra. You'll find a small mound with a door near the center of the chunk. Upon entering you'll see an NPC and 2 portals. Talking with the NPC will activate the portals and by clicking on them your whole team will be teleported into Chath's abode. Upon entering you just follow the path. There you will meet up with 5 waves of mobs before you get to Chath. These mobs have knockback so you'll want to have levitation. The best way to handle these is to back yourselves into a corner so you don't get tossed into Chath's room.

Once you've downed the waves of mobs, you can now enter Chaths room. You may have noticed the spikes on the floor while you were fighting the waves of adds, those should be gone now. Upon entering go directly to the center of the room - and stay there! The spikes will pop up randomly around the room for the duration of the battle. Chath spawns an add that will usually select your healer and pummel him to death. The only sure way I've seen to counter this is to back Chath up away from the group and stand him in a corner or at the very least next to a casket so when the add spawns it will only aggro the tank due to LOS. Once the add pops, all DPS stops on Chath for about 10 seconds - healers need to be focused on the tank during this time because the add hits like a train wreck! Once Chath can be attacked again, it's burn! baby burn! It's up to you if you want to kill the pet first but other teams I've been with have tried to kill the pet, then Chath and one of two things have happened: A) We wipe or B) It takes too long and we get tossed out. It's better to focus on Chath - that way even if you die to the pet, you may still be able to get Chath down and get credit for the kill!

Once you've got the add under control you're pretty much home free - DPS the crap outta Chath.

The entire encounter is a timed event - you'll have 10 minutes from the time you enter to kill Chath.

Tips:
  • Do not pull mobs to you - they summon so wait until they attack.
  • If you die, you cannot be ressurected in Chaths chamber so its best to evac and start over. You can still collect your tombstone but can't be brought back in through ressurection.
  • One of the mobs in each wave heal with a particular damage type (ie. Arcane, Physical, etc.) Casters need to watch to make sure they aren't healing them!

8. Griffons of a Feather... Part 8 "Magicborn Abomination" (Raid)

So, you've got your Griffon and you're still not happy? Let's get it upgraded!

Requirements:

18 Man Raid
Griffon Strike Ability - Learned from the Griffon quest line
* Make sure most members have this ability!
* Have all members place this on a shortcut bar!
2+ Tanks
2+ Primary Healers
Bard(s)
1 to 6 hours of time
* Can be done in 30 minutes... But give yourself plenty of time anyway
Griffons of a Feather quest
* Why go in if you don't have it? ???
Unless you are volunteering for the aggro magnet position.

Location:

Chunk directly south of New Targonor on the
Northwest coast of SoD. Look for the big
multi-colored dome. The NPC is hiding under
the arches on the bridge leading to the dome.

Playfield:

Inside the dome there is a tower, tent village and a few pillars along with some stone outcroppings.

Strategy:

This is a timed event. Speed counts!
Before speaking to the NPC and being teleported into the dome the raid should initiate the /random for the Etereal Griffon item. There will be no time for rolling after the encounter! Please consider what happens if the winner were to die and be prepared (/giveplayerlootitem or loot and petition).

Note: A primary tank (MT) should be designated for pulling all the mobs with off-tank(s) (OT) set to handle the Adds.

Vital: If you die, DO NOT RELEASE or you may not get credit.

As soon as the raid is teleported in the MT should begin pulling. The goal is to eliminate ALL the mobs as they will engage once the encounter with the Magicborn Abomination is initiated. About half of the mob-groups are triple pulls, a few double pulls and a few single pulls. All tanks should watch aggro closely; Having any members die before the main encounter is bad. If you lose more than two who are on the quest you'll probably want to reset and go again.

Tips: If you are facing the tower, look to your right and grab the mobs behind the rock before proceding towards the tower. Drive towards the tower but go left of the tent town and come up on it from the side to get all the mobs out in that direction. Then push through the tent town and into the pass until you reach the first plllar. Then you can move up the hill and pull the 2 singles there. OT(s) stay alert for a few wanderers and do the primary healer a favor and grab at least one mob off the MT during triple pulls.

The Tower: The front of the tower is open. If you are facing the opening you will see a good sized rock on the right-front. Most members of the raid will hide behind this rock the entire time (the rock-team). Note that you can step past the rock and have a gap giving you line of sight to the Magicborn Abomination, when he spawns, in the center of the tower without doing excessive moving. To the right of the tower, if you are facing the opening from the front, is a large open field. This field is where you will have your "aggro magnet" (aggro-team) hold the mobs that spawn during the main encounter. A healer who doesn't lag and a Bard with a defensive/speed song is a good combination.

The Main Event: Within a few moments the Magicborn Abomination will spawn along with the first set of defenders. The aggro-team members should get aggro on the adds immediately and begin their circular run. These members should avoid line of sight to the Abomination and only concentrate on staying alive and keeping aggro on the spawns. Healer aggro works really well. Part of the aggro-teams loop should bring them within aggro range of the adds so they can aggro them on the run. The rest of the raid stays behind the rock until the Magicborn Abomination becomes vulnerable. Just before he becomes vulnerable he will spawn adds and display a screen message indicating that he is calling for support. A few moments later a screen message will appear indicating that he is weak. The raid should move immediately into line-of-sight, the crack between the rock and the wall is perfect and use their Griffon Strike ability. If/when the Magicborn Abomination takes damage all members should move back behind the rock immediately! He can only be hit once each time he becomes vulnerable. If you stay in his line-of-sight too long he will one-shot you. **Note: You must keep his hate list active or he will reset. If a rock-team member is his target, that member should remain behind the rock during the next attack session! If that player were to die it could wipe the hate on the Magicborn Abomination and he would reset effectively ending the encounter (time is very tight!). Rinse and repeat. If a member of the rock-team gets aggro on one or more of the adds he/she should immediately run towards the aggro team and join them in running circles. As long as they didn't cause an aggro buildup the aggro team should be able to pull the adds off and the rock-team member will be able to slip back to the rock after a few moments. The Magicborn Abomination must be hit ten times to win the encounter. The player who won the roll should immediately procede to loot his Etereal Griffon item as soon as the Magicborn Abomination is killed.

Aftermath:

The adds do not vanish so the aggro team will still need to be in motion until teleported out after the timer for the encounter expires. The extension message should be ignored as you will still be teleported out when the quest timer expires... Possibly a bug.

Tips:
You can abort and evac out at any time if you're having a bad run
Tanks: Keep agro off the squishies or they will die
Bring Sacun - Go ahead and give him a /tell - Mention this post
and maybe he'll bring Jamee as a bonus!
Whoever has aggro with the Magicborn Abomination should stay
behind the rock. Only exception is the aggro magnet team who
are never to get within his line-of-sight.
If a member of the rock team gets aggro on an add they should
immediately join the aggro team until they lose aggro. Run with
the magnet, not against him.
Have a caller designated for announcing the adds and the weakness.

Good luck on your journey! This really isn't difficult, just time consuming if you fail and have to wait the full 30 minutes for a reset each time. And it is definitely worth the effort!

If I've missed anything or of there is something that needs to be clarified, let me know and I will add it.
