Cleric: General Description

Basic Cleric Description

Races: Dwarf, Halfling, High Elf, Thestran, Qaliathari, Dark Elf, Gnome, and Mordebi.

Armor: Plate and heavy armor

Weapons: Clerics can use one-handed blunt weapons, two-handed blunt weapons, throwing hammers and shields.


The Cleric is Vanguard: Saga of Heroes' plate wearing healer. The Cleric is often in the thick of the battle, fighting, healing and buffing and performing a number of different duties. The Cleric and the Shaman are arguably the two best buffing healing classes. The Cleric heals well but like all of Vanguard’s healing classes there is a lot more to do in a fight than just heal. The more you push this class the better it performs. One of the Cleric's defining abilities is a melee attack that allows her to regain energy (mana). Clerics are also very effective against the undead.

These powers manifest themselves in the form of powerful healing spells that enable him to tend to fallen and wounded allies. He is also granted mighty destructive spells that enable him to punish those who would defy his master's will. Clerics are also capable melee combatants."
